Iryna Poliarush

Biography:
Iryna Poliarush is an ISST Schroth Instructor (Part I) and Clinical Supervisor based in Kyiv. She holds a professional degree in physical rehabilitation and has extensive training in the conservative treatment of scoliosis.
After completing postgraduate studies in higher education pedagogy, Iryna has accumulated over 19 years of teaching experience in higher education. Her teaching has included courses in movement therapy, anatomy, motor learning, clinical reasoning, manual therapy, assessment methods, and rehabilitation approaches — always with a focus on integrating theory with clinical practice.
She has received specialized training in PNF, DNS, fascial techniques, as well as the Maitland, Mulligan, and McGill approaches.

Iryna is the founder of SMART REHAB — a leading scoliosis therapy center in Ukraine. Since 2022, she has been a full member of SOSORT and is actively advancing evidence-based scoliosis treatment.
Since 2022, she has been organizing intensive scoliosis therapy camps for patients from all over the country.

Iryna Poliarush serves as the President of the Ukrainian Scoliosis Association (UAS), an independent professional organization that unites clinicians, patients, and the scientific community around evidence-based treatment of spinal deformities.
She actively collaborates with international partners and contributes to shaping national standards for scoliosis management in Ukraine.
